We fit from an extra small and grade up from there so our sizing is naturally skewed towards smaller sizes. For wovens we recommend buying true to size while we recommend sizing up for some of our body-con knits.

GARMENT CARE

Please follow the instructions on the label inside the item. Many of our items are made of delicate fabrics like silk and will need to be dry cleaned.

 

JEWELRY CARE

Please use caution when applying hairsprays, lotions, colognes and perfumes when wearing your AYAI fine jewelry. Over the course of time, body oil and skin products can collect on jewelry and leave a residue. This may cause the metal to tarnish and occlude stones. Also, please avoid wearing AYAI jewelry when coming in contact with household chemicals. They can discolor or damage your jewelry and diamonds. To keep your jewelry looking bright and new, take a soft headed toothbrush with some mild soap and gently brush the front and back of the stones and metal. Rinse thoroughly with tepid water.

AYAI fine jewelry is delicate in nature and should be handled carefully.

 

JEWELRY REPAIRS

At AYAI quality and craftsmanship is of our utmost concern. However, jewelry by its very nature is delicate. If you should experience the need for repair on any AYAI fine jewelry item please email concierge@areyouami.com. Please reference your name, address, order number and repair issue. You will be provided a Repair Authorization Number which must be clearly labeled on the package. On a case by case basis, some repairs can incur a fee, which will be invoiced by email.

Most orders will ship within 2-3 business days. Once processed, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking information, which may take up to 24 hours for the information to be updated. We use 30mm thick silk charmeuse, which drapes beautifully and wears well, with a lustrous shine. Mm, or 'momme' is a unit used to measure the weight of silk. Please avoid contact with liquids and creams when wearing your AYAI gold filled or gold plated jewelry, especially household chemicals. Substances such as chlorine, perfume, etc may discolor or damage your jewelry, leave residue, or cause it to tarnish rapidly. Store your gold filled or gold plated only when dry. Keeping your gold filled or gold plated jewelry as dry as possible will extend the life of its color and luster. To clean your AYAI jewelry, you may use a cotton ball or a soft cloth to wipe off residue and dirt. If desired, you may wash your jewelry with soft headed toothbrush and some mild soap. Rinse thoroughly with tepid water, then dry quickly. Do not let your jewelry remain wet in the open air. Make sure your jewelry is completely dry before putting it away for storage. We do not recommend the use of commercially available jewelry cleaning solutions as these substances are very harsh and might damage your jewelry.

WHY ARE YOUR CLOTHES PRICED THE WAY THEY ARE?

We release pieces that exist outside of trends and stand alone, as opposed to collections, so that we can bring an array of ideas to life in only a few weeks. We value slow fashion over mass-production so that each quality piece is worthy of the investment and loved forever. From the design to the launch of a product, we maintain close relationships with everyone in manufacturing, always paying workers a living wage. All of our pieces are created by hand in Los Angeles, with extremely special fabrics so that every piece can be something that's endlessly appreciated.

I PUT THE WRONG ADDRESS

If your order has not yet shipped, please contact concierge@areyouami.com with the correct address. If the package has already shipped and is in transit, we are unable to make any changes. You can visit the carrier's website (FedEx or USPS) for more information on rerouting.  

 

WHAT IF MY PACKAGE IS LOST?

Route shipping insurance ensures protection of shipments in the case that they're lost, stolen, or damaged. All orders placed without Route are not eligible for a replacement or refund in these cases. Please visit their website for more information. I RECEIVED THE WRONG / DAMAGED ITEM

If you received a damaged or an incorrect item, please send us an email to concierge@areyouami.com within 48 hours of receiving your order. Make sure to include photos of the item along with the tags attached.

 

MY ORDER DIDN'T GO THROUGH BUT I WAS STILL CHARGED

This is an authorization attempt and is common with Shopify when billing information is entered incorrectly. Authorization is needed to check if a card holder has the sufficient funds to be approved by the merchant. If there is a problem with validation, the authorization is cancelled, bu you may still see a pending charge on the account. The charge will be dropped within 48 hours by your bank.
